"Oh, La La, Oh La La" is the 2nd single to be released from Su Anderssons forthcoming album "Postcards".

"Oh, La La, Oh, La La" is a postcard from Paris, about being a time optimist, not getting a taxi to the train station. The hostess at the hotel asks Su when her train leaves. When Su tells her she responds in the only way a French woman would and could, ‘Oh, La La, Oh, La La”. Once more Su wants to express her love to words and languages, the efforts in trying to communicate, it’s important throughout the whole album.

"Oh, La La, Oh, La La" will be released August 8th, 2025.

Su Andersson's forthcoming album, "Postcards" takes a different approach from her previous work, embracing solitude rather than seeking direct connectivity. While her 2022 album, "Brave", was filled with longing for human interaction, "Postcards" draws from independent travel experiences across Europe in the autumn of 2021, more of a spectator who both observes others and looks inward.

Each song on the album serves as a musical postcard from different cities, capturing moments of spontaneous connection that arise precisely because of traveling alone. As Su explains, "It's fair to say that there is something about the combination of being alone and therefore independent, and in a place that I don't know, that creates room to inspire me when I get there".

This independence allowed for unexpected encounters and observations that might not have occurred otherwise. "When I travel on my own", she notes, "my eyes, ears and mind are free to take in whatever it may be", The album celebrates the return of hope, post pandemic, when people could once again communicate, share, and connect.

The album created in collaboration with the musician Henning Sernhede and new collaborator Axel Olsson, "Postcards" serves as both travelog and human observation, celebrating freedom of movement and our capacity for connection.

"Postcards" will be released September 5th, 2025.
