Bá I Ù O Hó

"This was the very 1st song I ever learned how to sing in Scottish Gàidhlig. I had the great honor of taking singing lessons with the wonderful Christine Primrose from the Isle of Lewis when I lived on the Isle Of Skye and this is the first song she imparted to me. I’ve sung this song to my son every day before his naps since the day we was born. I added 3 new verses of my own, inspired by the beautiful home in the woods we’ve made in Vermont. Daily, I strapped my son to my chest and took long walks with him in the woods, humming this melody and taking in the natural beauty around me. Through the added verses of this song, I feel as though I’ve preserved some of those fleeting, precious memories." ~ Kyle Carey
