- Robert Ryttman / Zero Magazine -

"Su Andersson’s new album is created in collaboration with musician Henning Sernhede and new collaborator Axel Olsson, 'Postcards' serves as both travelog and human observation, celebrating freedom of movement and our capacity for connection."

- Kenneth Bremer / Blue Desert -

"Su Andersson has enchanting melodies, but when paired with her poetic lyrics it’s art. Not watercolor art, but an oil painting. Vivid musical color with Su’s fluent americana roots confluence in a tune like 'Reunion'. Marvelous, even with the harmonica and whistling. Many songs have themes of a return to hope, loneliness, spontaneous connection with strangers, connectivity, traveling, discovery, and it adds up to living a full life, with curiosity. These aren’t subjects often chosen by other songwriters. This is what makes this album a disciplined departure from standard pop songs. There isn’t a misstep in the bunch. All tunes are captivating."

- John Apice / Americana Highways -

"The 10 songs from Su Andersson's 'Postcards' are well written with an eclectic take on a broadly indie rock style. The concept of the album, as hinted by its title, is that each song represents the memory of a stop along the way on a trip which Andersson took across Europe in 2021."

- Trevor Raggatt / Rock'N'Reel Magazine -

"Right from the start, you'll encounter boldly driving music and a very energetic voice that takes center stage and significantly shapes each song. It's worth noting that the protagonist's voice proves to be quite versatile, having developed its own unique expression."

- Wolfgang Giese / Musik An Sich -

"Who is this for? For lovers of introspective folk, female singer songwriters with a literary bent, and albums that whisper rather than shout. 'Postcards' is an ode to solo travel, to looking without judgement, and to finding meaning in the small things."

- Fred Pach / Muziekwereld -

"Su Andersson isn't the only singer songwriter in the world, and for now, she has to make do with a minimal audience. She plays small venues and stages, but she still manages to win over the audience. And honestly, I don't find that surprising, because there's absolutely nothing wrong with an album like 'Postcards', and it basically delivers everything you'd expect from a singer songwriter album. The musical coloration is beautifully produced, and Su Andersson's voice brings a sense of calm and warmth. What more could you ask for?"

- William van Voorbergen -

"After her experiences of travelling through 15 states in the US as described in her debut album ‘Train Stories’, Swedish singer songwriter Su Andersson is now taking us along on her new journey, also by train, to several European cities in the 10 tracks that she composed for her 3rd album ‘Postcards’."

- Valére Sampermans / Rootstime -

"This is a beautiful collection of musical impressions, each of them supplemented with striking graphic artworks by Spanish artist and musician Xema Fuertes."

- Cis van Looy / Written In Music -

"The packaging, an elegant booklet and CD with a spine and hardcover, deserves a separate review for its quality and respect for listeners, which are now rare, although we must not forget that the music must be judged first and foremost. Swedish artist Su Andersson abandoned her lucrative career as an architect to devote herself fully to music in 2019, releasing 2 albums and touring the United States and continental Europe. 'Postcards', as the title suggests, is a collection of ballads inspired by a series of solo journeys undertaken by the author, gathering sensations and encounters along the way. Recorded in Berlin and Gothenburg with a core quartet supported by collaborators Henning Sernhede and Axel Olsson, the album is elegant and dense in sound, but doesn't stand out for its songwriting, which is a bit dark in its shift between folk rock and pop intimacy. Among the liveliest episodes are the cabaret blues of 'Vertigo' and the saxophone driven finale of the classic ballad 'Voices From The Past'."
