Utopia Zoo

Almost 3 years in the making, this album is the 1st full length record Faraways SWE has ever produced. With a big range of styles and drawing inspiration from a lot of different genres and musical eras.

Faraways SWE is a Swedish band, active since the 90’s, based around the 2 founding members, Erik Holmberg, guitars and vocals, and Tomas Axelsson, bass, along with drummer and producer Tobias Walka, and with contributions from peripheral musicians, lyricists and vocalists.

Joined by their mutual love of 60’s and 70’s rock, fusion jazz, electronic music, folk, goth, psychedelia, americana and country music, they deliver a unique, but familiar blend of music.

The new album, "Utopia Zoo" will be released by Paraply Records, distributed by Border Music and RedEye Worldwide, on July 11th, 2025.
