"I love it when an idea comes together. Even if it takes a few years. I met a band from Austria at Americana Fest in Nashville a few years back. Something refreshing and more up my alley than anything I usually run across here in Nashville. My cup of tea, thoughtful, dark, intelligent folk music, just weird enough to be interesting, just polished enough to be a fine exemplar of song craft. Right then and there I wanted to do a co-release with them. Lo and behold some years later the stars aligned and we found ourselves at Red Barn Recorders in the high desert recording together. I had this very personal song, 'Faith', I’d had hanging around for too long. They added to it a chorus, no less, and a beautiful new version emerged." ~ Lance Whalen
