Radikal Vals

This fall, Den Fule will release its long-awaited 5th album! The 1st album "Lugumleik" came out in 1993 and was awarded a Swedish Grammis. For a few years now, the group has been a quartet where everyone has been with the group all the way since the start.

Significant for Den Fule in 2026 is a well honed group sound that ranges widely from dark rock landscapes to ecstatic jazz swing, delivered with one foot firmly anchored in traditional fiddle music. "Radikal Vals" is a groovy and funky piece of music. "Radikal Vals" is the 1st single from the upcoming album "Den Fule", which will be released on September 18th, 2026. Waltz in a different way!

Now even uglier. Den Fule means 'The Ugly One' in Swedish. 7 years of beauty sleep to no avail. The 3 beat is heavier than ever and the guitar is electrifying. The saxophone incites, the bass deceives, and the drums roll so that the trolls flee, the dancers levitate, and cute little waltzes hide in the corners in fear. Den Fule has sharpened his hooves and rolled out his tail. Den Fule is back.

During 2024 and 2025, they have met fantastic audiences in Uppsala, Ljusdal, Stockholm, Falun, Sala, Katrineholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, among other places. They hope for a brilliant 2026 with their new album in tow.
