If Love Was Money

"We had a 3 day drive from Boston down to Muscle Shoals and were still looking for songs to record. The closer we got to Alabama, the more I realized that I kept returning to songs written by Dan Penn. We started listening to his solo album from 1972, which I had not known before, and I fell completely in love. I could have recorded almost every song from that album, but the last track, 'If Love Was Money', felt like something me and the band could really have fun with". ~ Jesper Lindell
