You And All Your Friends

Catcher Evo is the name of a new Swedish americana project. Behind the name you find singer, guitarist and songwriter Stefan Leoson. A 1st single met the world in October and in early December single # 2 was released. ”Little L”, another strong track taken from the upcoming EP ”Charcoal”. A classic americana tune with a story to tell, ”Little L” is a softly driving track with Nashville drummer Jordan Perlson laying a steady foundation for Stefan’s guitars and vocals to build upon.

Catcher Evo’s music draws heavily from the American tradition, even if it’s not 'country'. It has real instruments, played by real people, topped with lyrics that bears a deeper meaning. It’s the real deal, whether its roots can be followed back to Jackson Browne, David Lindley, Ry Cooder, Jude Cole, or later influences like the Bros Landreth.

Now it's time for the 3rd single from Catcher Evo's forthcoming EP, "Charcoal". ”You And All Your Friends” started out as a positive song, both musically and lyrically. “However, I felt that it actually ended up being too happy that way, so I decided to go for a the polar opposite lyrically!”. The lyrics are directed to false and shallow people who lie, people who are assholes, and people who think they’re better than everyone else. Stefan Leoson finds use for numerous invectives in creatives ways.

The new single, "You And All Your Friends", will be available on all download and streaming sites on January 7th, 2026, and the debut EP, ”Charcoal”, is hitting stores and streaming services on January 23rd, 2026.
