"Returning to the studio in early 2019, Coco O’Connor was more determined than ever to return to her musical beginnings. 'It has a lot to do with going back to my roots where I grew up', says Coco. The main catalyst for the development of the album was signing a record deal with Bonfire Music Group. After forming a band for a music festival in 2018, Coco took that inspiration to a whole new peak by bringing the full band in to the studio to record on her new release, 'When I Was Your World'."

"Like many I first became aware of the Alabama born singer songwriter with her 'This Ol' War' EP and, in particular, her award winning song 'The Devil, A Wounded Man, And Me', so the arrival of this, her 2nd album, has been keenly awaited. It doesn't disappoint. There may not be another 'The Devil', but then that would be asking Da Vinci to paint a second Mona Lisa, there are, though, more than sufficient Last Suppers to warrant you making it part of your world."

“Debuting in 2015 with her album ‘Turquoise’, Alabama born singer songwriter Coco O’Connor has now released her 3rd album ‘When I Was Your World’. It was recorded in Nashville, TN, in Cerrillos, NM, and in Sheffield, AL. The record contains 10 new self penned tracks which are ranging from folk over country to gently swinging rock songs."
