"'Soften' is a conversation between different sides of myself, the light and dark, softness and strength. It is a song of surrender to inevitable change and acceptance of choices made. I drew the Three of Cups alongside the Moon and the tarot bible told me to 'dance my way through the night' and to 'trust my instincts'. It seemed right at the time, so I sat quietly and a song was born. 'There is work to be done', I kept telling myself. But, soft work. Soft work that digs deep, but still lets you dance with the moon in all her phases. There was a longing to return to the knowing of my body.
