Teaser Blueser

"Teaser Blueser" is the name of this new full length album by Blue Escape, as well as the opening track. It is written in a playful fashion by the singer Johanna Lillvik and the theme is a version of the childish melody called 'catch me if you can'. The phrase creates the setting of these ten gems of jumpy, swingin´, eclectic songs, furnished in a quaint fashion. As if finding yourself in a room full of splendid antiques, full of stories and riddles, yet never looses its sense of topicality.

Swedish boogie blues jazzband Blue Escape released an EP 2020 that got brilliant reviews all over Europe. Together with the charismatic singer Johanna Lillvik they've toured frequently ever since and every concert renders the audience in absolute awe. Their interpretation of this music, spanning throughout a century, starting in the mid 19th century, with its roots spread out from New Orleans to New York, is a sublime celebration. The EP sold out rapidly and their listeners have been persistently demanding a sequel. Finally it is here!
