Renowned multi platinum singer songwriter Harold Payne, celebrated for his heartfelt and inspiring compositions, has just released his newest single, “This Is My Tribe”. Co-written with fellow songwriter Patricia Bahia, “This Is My Tribe” captures the joy and gratitude of being surrounded by a tight knit group of people who 'have each other’s backs' and 'walk in each other’s shoes'. “This Is My Tribe”, serendipitously enough, found its origin at a spontaneous improv moment at a small house concert, where Payne and other songwriters were performing. Harold wanted to comment on having 'found his own people', and wrote an on the spot song about it. The song later expanded and took on new life during a performance at an 'Evolving Out Loud' event with Kyle Cease at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Payne had this to say about the song, “There’s something deeply reassuring about knowing you’re part of a group that truly sees and supports you. Whether it’s friends, family, or kindred spirits, this song is for those who show up for one another no matter what”.
